Our club was formed in 1903 at Kingsland, moved to Steens Bridge and eventually to our present location between the wars. The club ceased during World War 2 and was revived in 1967 as a nine-hole course. The second nine came in the 1990s and the new clubhouse opened in 2000.
When you join us at Leominster Golf Club you will experience great golf and a warm and genuine welcome. The 18 holed par-70 undulating parkland course at Leominster Golf Club is a delight to play. It offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and provides a challenging test for golfers of all ages and all levels of experience. With no two holes the same the 6,026 yards mature course has a reputation for great variety. With the lower holes running alongside the River Lugg, there should be no shortage of inspiration. Fresh air, great exercise and wonderful entertainment add to the experience, thus providing the perfect antidote to stress. Buggies and trolleys are available for hire from the Pro Shop.
In the clubhouse you will discover fine hospitality and a wonderful atmosphere. Societies and corporate clients will find our attention to detail, flexibility and top-value golf packages of particular interest. There is a fully stocked Pro Shop, with something for everyone and you can develop your game with a course of golf lessons from our friendly and highly-experienced PGA club professional.
